Beginning Myers-Briggs Type Theory.
When colleagues, clients, friends or family do things that "tick you off," perhaps it's because they perceive the world and communicate in a different manner. In this lively session, you'll look at yourself and others to see how you can communicate better when you understand personality differences as seen through the theory of Jung, Myers and Briggs and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the most widely used personality instrument in business.
Communications and Listening Skills
Most people spend 75 percent of their information-gathering time listening, yet up to 80 percent of most verbalmessages is lost if there are two or more steps between the speaker and the ultimate receiver. That translates into costly mistakes, customers who are dissatisfied with the service they've received and negative word-of-mouth, all of which affects the bottom line for a business.
The ability to listen is an important communication skill, but few people have been trained how to listen effectively. Listening is a skill that can be taught and sharpened. This training demonstrates the importance of listening and the importance of framing what you say so others will listen to you.

This session will help participants gain an understanding of a no surprises approach to supervision and evaluation.
